Davide Balula
Halfway between an artist's book and a monograph, this work presents the multifaceted work of Davide Balula. A well thought-out organization links critical texts (essays, notes, and interviews) with artists contributions (short stories, screenplays, recipes, drawings...), interspersed with a selection of works by Balula since 2003. This publication was produced for the occasion of the monographic exhibition “Le lac, le mensonge (The Lake, The Lie” presented in the depot-gallery of the Confort Modrne 16 May to 31 August 2008. Certain pages can detach. The cover can be torn in order to serve as a bookmark and fill the voids left by the torn-away pages.
